Our World Premiere production of Dan Fante's BOILER ROOM was cited in The Los Angeles Times Sunday Calendar Best Of '98. Under the blanket headline THE STAGE WAS SET FOR EXCELLENCE,writer Don Shirley called the show "a ferociously profane comedy about a pack of Southland telemarketers."

BOILER ROOM will return for encore performances, beginning Saturday, January 16, and plays Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm through February 28. ($15)

Clayton Landey joins the cast in the role of Doc Franklin. Clayton is familiar to audiences from his roles in She's So Lovely,Crime Of The Century, and the current A Civil Action. He played Luther Adler in the multiple award winning Names at the Matrix Theatre and Off-Broadway a couple of seasons back. We're pleased to have him on the team!

Starring Adelaide Vaughn, Frank Uzzolino, Jimmie F. Skaggs, Clayton Landey, Susan Ziegler, Phinneas Kiyomura, and Douglas Coler

Directed by Jolene Adams.

After successful preview performances in December, these provocative one acts continue in a full engagement Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm, January 14 through February 19. ($12)

DOLORES is a withering, wicked look at sibling rivalry and domestic unrest. On the worst day of her life, Dolores reaches out to her sister Sandra, who is not having a great day herself. Together, they try to make sense of the mess their lives have become.

NORTH OF PROVIDENCE gives us Bobbie, the slovenly, cowardly only son and his sister Carole, who has overcome a horrifying childhood incident, and now is determined to save Bobbie from his self destructive ways.

The plays present an achingly accurate examination of loyalty, love, and regret.

Starring Michael Albala, Laura Richardson, Jolene Adams, and Andrea Tate.

Directed by Jolene Adams.

As many of you know, Actors Art Theatre is located on 'Museum Row' in Los Angeles. The area has been buzzing for months : The Picasso exhibit at LACMA closed last weekend, and this week brings us Van Gogh's Van Goghs at the same museum. We're also neighbors with The Petersen Automotive Museum, The Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits, The MuseumOf Miniatures, and The Craft and Folk Art Museum (lately closed and recently rescued, set to reopen by early summer.)

Take a virtual art walk. Start at our front door and head due east 1/4 block.
